Fishing is in abundance from the Lodge, where you can fish in the clear tidal river directly from the beach, or in 100 acre Salt Lake about 300 metres up the river or in the Koro Sea, about 2 kilometers down the river. Salt Lake Lodge is also only 3 miles up a dirt road to Natewa Bay, the largest bay in the South Pacific, where you can fish from the boat, over reefs or from one of the many sand banks in the middle of this huge and beautiful bay. You will be fishing for grand trevally, Spanish mackerel, tuna, wahoo, mahi mahi (seasonal), grouper, red snapper, mangrove jack, barracuda and many more.
